Graduated in singing/voice, composition and orchestra conducting from the Turin Conservatory,
he began his career as baritone at the Royal Theater in Turin, and after he performed in the
most important theaters in Europe. In addition he is active as chorus master, conductor and composer.
Since 1980 he has been working as musical manager with different offices and at the present
he is art director of the Arena of Verona.
He is singing teacher at the Musical School in Reggio Emilia and gives master classes in
Italy and all over the world. He is invited as a juror in international competition.
He has made several recordings as chorus master and he published articles about singing,
management of opera house in Italy and a book about music theory. He is asked for advices
by several national and international opera houses and musical organizations.
